Why Me?

Hi, I'm Jez. My mission is to demystify the mining industry for those on the outside. Getting back to basics on how things work.
Everything you can name in this world is either farmed or mined.
But while the mining industry is full of opportunity, it’s often seen as outdated, complex, and unapproachable. For anyone trying to build a career, or just simply learn, the path can feel unclear.
That’s where I come in. As a mining engineer with 10 years in the field, I started this project to bridge the gap between the mine site classroom and the real world. I couldn't help but feel that the industry has a huge fault in not sharing its knowledge, despite needing to move forward and attract crucial young talent.
Currently we're asking a generation that values sustainability.
To join an industry they see as the enemy of it.
My goal is to share the insider knowledge you can actually use, breaking down the barriers of an industry that is too often gatekept.
Why you?
My goal is to build a resource that genuinely serves you, first and foremost.
The best way to join me on this mission is to sign up for the newsletter
What's the Plan?
I want to be completely transparent about how this works.
My core philosophy is simple: trust before money.
The goal is to become the most valuable, go-to resource for mining education—the kind of free content that makes people say, “If this is what I get for free, I’d feel guilty not paying.”
But I'm not here as a perfect expert. I’m an engineer in the trenches, still learning and making mistakes every single week. By opening up the process and showing you the areas where I fail, I hope to build this resource with you, not just for you. This project will be a direct result of your feedback and needs.
I will always give away the knowledge for free through YouTube videos and my newsletter.
Pay my coffee - not yet
Over time, as our community grows, I will introduce paid products and services that offer the execution pathway if you want to take the next step and join me in a new lifestyle, but I'll always keep the knowledge free.
This approach ensures the free content remains my top priority.
Cheers,
Jez
